  • Group Size:The tour package is designed for a specific group size. Any changes in the group size may affect the tour prices, in rare cases.
  • Room Allocation:The rooms and accommodations are provided as per the itinerary. Any changes in room type or additional facilities other than those mentioned in the itinerary will be borne by the client.
  • Price Variations:Any changes in taxes, government regulations, or fluctuations in train/air ticket charges may result in additional costs, which will be communicated and charged accordingly.
  • Itinerary Changes: Once the travel has commenced, no changes to the itinerary can be made. Any request for modifications must be made in advance and is subject to availability.
  • Unutilized Services There will be no refund for any unutilized services included in the package.
  • Tour Cancellation If the tour is cancelled for any reason, the amount paid by the client will be carried forward as credit towards a future tour organized by Indo Science Education Trust.

Payment Schedule

• 100% advance payment is required 60 days before the tour start date to secure your reservation.



Cancellation and Refunds

For the convenience of the guests company books air / rail/ road transport tickets and hotel rooms well in advance. Should the guests wish to cancel any of the bookings the company will levy cancelling charges on the confirmed bookings. Under such circumstances the guest is liable for cancelling charges as per the following details.

  • Cancellation between 120 to 90 days before departure will result in a 10% deduction from the total tour cost.
  • Cancellation between 89 to 60 days before departure will result in a 50% deduction from the total tour cost
  • Cancellation 59 days or less before departure will not be eligible for any refund.


Liability

Travel Insurance: Participants are required to arrange their own comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings. Indo Science Education Trust will not be responsible for any expenses incurred due to the lack of adequate travel insurance or any claims related to travel insurance. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that their insurance policy meets their individual needs and provides adequate coverage for the duration of the tour.

Responsibility: While every effort will be made to ensure the safety and comfort of participants, Indo Science Education Trust shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, and transportation delays.

Health and Medical It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that they are in good health and fit to travel. Any medical expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the participant. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to consult their healthcare provider before embarking on the tour.

Behaviour Participants are expected to conduct themselves responsibly and respectfully during the trip. Indo Science Education Trust reserves the right to terminate the tour of any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive or harmful to others or the reputation of the organization. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Travel Documents Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary travel documents, visas, and permits as required for the tour. Indo Science Education Trust will provide assistance and guidance, but it is the participant's responsibility to meet these requirements.

By booking a tour with Indo Science Education Trust, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions and acknowledge your understanding of the associated liabilities.

However, we want to inform you that circumstances can change due to events beyond our control. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully:

Accuracy of Information: The information provided in our brochures is as accurate as possible regarding the amenities and services typically available during the tours.

Route Changes: Events such as major road work or heavy rains may necessitate route changes. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify you in advance if possible.

Third-Party Services: We do not own or operate airlines, shipping companies, coaches, hotels, transportation facilities, or any other service providers used during the tours. We carefully select and inspect these service providers; however, we cannot be held liable for any mishaps, injuries, distress, increased expenses, losses, damages, or theft of luggage or personal belongings that occur due to the actions or defaults of the independent contractors employed by these service providers. Such incidents are outside the scope of our normal selection and inspection process.

Additional Expenses: We reserve the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delays, cancellations of trains, buses, flights, adverse weather conditions, strikes, wars, quarantines, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Liability: All losses, damages, or expenses, whether temporary or permanent, caused by any reason, will be borne by the traveller. Indo Science Education & Mighty Minds shall not be held responsible or liable for any such losses, damages, or expenses. By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this disclaimer and liability clause. We recommend that travellers acquire comprehensive travel insurance to mitigate any unforeseen circumstances or expenses during the tour.

What to carry Do's and Don'ts

Do's

  • Change of Clothes Pack enough clothing for each day of the tour, with some extras in case of emergencies.
  • Prescribed Medications Ensure you have an adequate supply of any prescribed medications you may need during the tour.
  • Torch/flashlight Carry a flashlight or torch for emergencies, especially if you are traveling to remote areas or places with uncertain power supply.
  • Travel Documents : Ensure you have all necessary travel documents such as identification, passports, visas, tickets, and hotel reservations. Make photocopies or digital backups of important documents.
  • First Aid Kit Carry a basic first aid kit with essentials like Band-Aids, pain relievers, antiseptic wipes, and any personal medical supplies you may require.
  • Weather-Appropriate Clothing : Check the weather forecast for your destination and pack clothing suitable for the expected conditions. This may include sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses for sunny destinations or rain gear for wet climates.
  • Cash and Payment Options Carry some cash in the local currency, as well as credit/debit cards for emergencies.
  • Emergency Contacts Have a list of emergency contacts, including the tour organizers, and family members.
  • Ask When in Doubt: If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask for assistance or clarification from tour guides, airport staff, or fellow travellers.
  • Show Courtesy: Be polite and show respect to fellow tourists, as well as airport and airline staff. Courtesy goes a long way in ensuring a pleasant travel experience for everyone.
  • Follow Rules: Adhere to airport and airline rules and regulations, including security procedures and check-in requirements.
  • Use Seatbelts: Always use seatbelts when seated on the aircraft unless advised otherwise and when the seatbelt light is turned off.
  • Dispose of Trash Properly: Dispose of trash only in designated bins. If you can't find a dustbin, hold onto your trash until you locate one.
  • Remember Tour Roll Number: Keep track of your tour roll number, which will be provided before entering the airport. This helps in organizing group movements efficiently.
  • Don'ts

  • Prohibited Items : Do not carry items that are prohibited on flights, such as sharp objects (scissors, nail-cutters, knives), flammable items (matches, lighters), pressurized containers (deodorant, shaving foam), weapons, or any other restricted items.
  • Liquids : Avoid carrying liquids, including water, in your carry-on baggage. You can carry an empty bottle and fill it after passing through security, but be sure to check with the team leader for specific instructions.
  • Queue Etiquette : Do not break queues, unless instructed to do so by the team leader or airport personnel. Maintain proper queue etiquette to ensure a smooth and orderly process.
  • Heavy or Unnecessary Items : Avoid carrying anything unnecessary. It's best to travel light and only bring items that are essential for your comfort and safety.
  • Large Luggage/Suitcases: Do not use heavy or large luggage or suitcases. Opt for a small handbag and a compact suitcase to make your travel experience more convenient.
  • Valuable Jewellery and Items: Avoid wearing expensive jewellery or carrying valuable items that may attract unwanted attention.
  • Large Amounts of Cash: Refrain from carrying excessive cash. Use ATMs or secure payment methods to minimize the risk of theft or loss.
  • Over packing: Resist the urge to over pack. Stick to the essentials and versatile clothing items to keep your luggage manageable.
  • Unfamiliar Local Food: While exploring local cuisine is encouraged, avoid consuming street food or uncooked items that may pose a health risk.
  • Engaging in Risky Activities: Do not participate in risky or dangerous activities that are not part of the planned tour itinerary without proper guidance and safety measures.
  • Disruptive Behaviour: Maintain respectful and considerate behaviour towards fellow travellers, locals, and tour guides. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in your exclusion from the tour.
  • These guidelines are intended to help you have a smoother and more enjoyable tour experience. Traveling light will make it easier for you to move around and ensure you have everything you need without unnecessary burden.
